2 answers/reasons

1. She dumped Crash and went with Pinstripe(not a rumor, fact)

2. Took her out because of her body. Complaints about her looking too sexy or promoting sex and the fact the Crash's height reaches her breasts was another factor for the complainers.

I just found out the reason a couple days ago actually and it made me laugh.

Unfortuantely, that is not true. However, the crash game made after this, Crash of the Titans, does support and drop in drop out co-op style of game.

Sorry for the late late reply but Crash of the titans, indeed in its campaign story mode, supports 2 players. It's a drop in drop out type of co-op....sorta similar to the Lego Star Wars games if you ever played that, where the second player practically has infinite lives. So whenever they die, the can immediately drop back in.
