I liked the prequels i just didn't like the damn deception the chancelor used i cant stand him...Anakin is or was the most powerful Jedi the prequels turned him from an innocent kid to an powerful jedi and the council repeatedly did not trust him leading to his turn to the darkside. All he wanted was for his wife to live and his mother but his intentions yet good were too much for him

Some people think part 1,2,3 are disappointing...but let's face it, everybody knows how the story ends; that Anakin will turn to the Dark side, etc. so it kills the suspense. However I enjoyed every bit of the three movies. At least the "prequels" didn't feature the silly fighting teddy bears from ROTJ

I try not to judge Anakin Skywalker. I look at the character through the perspective that he had a horrible life.

His mother couldn't be sold with him, having him leave her when he was a child, going off to who knows where in a spaceship, only to come back as a teenager, holding her dead in his arms.

Then when love finally entered his heart through the woman he loved, he couldn't even be near her because of the Jedi code restriction.
