  • Lols at the snow button. Awesome video, thank you.

  • why are people so afraid to talk on their videos that shit drives me nuts.

  • Are you not going outside of the applications for these knives?

  • i dont really like that bowie, just the look of it, i prefer the timber rattler old el paso, looks beautiful

  • lol the board breaks

  • You probably already have a bunch of requests, but could you consider testing the ka-bar baconmaker?

  • I do 200 pushups a day standard, i curl 100lbs, and can jog 5 miles. Thats just basic fitness, and still i can carry this knife and a hatchet/splitter, and not worry about energy. What is with all this conserve energy shit, stop being fukken lazy and man up! carry this knife, an axe, a folding saw, a neck knife, and a CS special forces shovel. Stop this converse energy bullshit, if you need energy bring a pellet gun and kill a squirrel while out there, they cook quickly and can feed your fat ass

  • @Eso1 You are right! I can't come CLOSE to your level of fitness, I am 37, 170 lbs, can't bench even 100 lbs., and 5miles, well, that is a days hike, but I can STILL carry a big 'ol Bowie with a 10.5" blade,CS Laredo, AND an axe, CS shovel, and pack, course, not very far. Then I make comfy camp, and set the boobytraps 'round my little camp, for safety!.This all does not include my .45 Colt Bisley and rifle (Mini 14, or a .22 Single shot, if packin' light) and ammo. Quit being such wusses !

  • really i think only the people who criticize the thought of an axe havent tried it it saves a lot of energy as well as uses a lot to carry in its really a matter of if your gonna be one of those people who judges books by there cover so be it but you could be someone who prefers to save time and also be more capable in the woods i prefer the second one. knives and axes as a combo are amazing in the field

  • Thanks for the video. I think you just helped me decide on a big chopper blade. I was going to buy the RTAK, but at 30 ounces, it is just too heavy when the Ka-bar can do the job at half the weight and half the cost.

  • is that really 14 1/2 inches? it looks shorter than my ka bar kukri and its 11 1/2 i think. it might b because the bowie is skinnier or something that it doesnt look longer.

  • Hey look an axe was invented for a reason. Let that sweet ass knife do what its suppose to. Go slice up some slanteyes. Lol. For all haters out there this was a joke. So dont be a pussy and try to talk shit lol

  • The Silent Master. Thanks for a great "REAL" use review!!! If I had to have 1 all around it would be Large Bowie. Rtac 11 would be #1 as a pure chopper. This is a great knife.

  • If I "drilled" a hole in a denser piece of wood, do you think the tip will snap?

  • That wood sound nice, I bet it'd burn real nice

  • @MrZakkD wow your right

  • Are you a lefty? Or ambi? Thanks for the test. People who think it's boring, fast forward it dumbfucks.

  • really soft wood

  • Nnnice gettin one

  • Even after my 2 beers i just had....this is not that funny... is this suppose to be funny? or is this video to help people with insomnia? I'm getting sleepy watching it.

  • haha at 1:08

  • i would rather buy an ontario rkat ii than a kabar bowie

  • lmao......... this is kinda a fail... i mean, i am a 14 year old who just ordered this knife and i could make a better review...

  • got 1:50 and got mad at myself for be sucked into this meat gazing crap. If you watched the whole 10 mins then you might want to ride this knife with your asshole.

  • Could not finish watching too slow and just dragged on and on and on

  • +1 about carrying axe and big fixed blade. I think a 3"-31/2" folder with an axe is fine for just about every situation. Tip when you baton: strike the top of the blade on the part furthest away from you. You'll get more pressure on the wood. And wear gloves, dude. You're asking for digit detachment. Nice vid though. Really enjoyed the depth.

  • 1:07 Nice fail!

  • i was hoping for a better close-up of the tip after the 'drilling' part. also, how thick was that plywood?

  • you dose not know how to spell does

  • thats a great knife.wood it cut my bosses head off?

  • Some advice. Lubricate your blade, use some rim oil or WD40 and it will help you cut plus keep your blade in good condition. Also make sure you stick your blade before you baton, if you don't you'll tweak your blade

  • hi bro can u introduce me wad is the best knife for riot

  • BEST KNIFE EVER.

  • leave each other alone.

    its all about personal preference.

if someone wants a knife and axe then so be it. people need to quit copying nutnfancy and buscrafters and find out what works for them.

  • i agree,

dont just take the opinion of someone on the internet, go and find out what you prefer to use,

  • nutnfancy is the shit =)

  • maybe you should spray some WD-40 on it before chopping

  • good for castrating bulls.

  • Because carrying an axe and a knife in your pack is a waste of energy....

    Derp

  • is this knife heavy, hands get tired holding it?

  • but an axe is heavier! :)

  • stop bein a fagget and get some muscles

  • Ka- bar is the best.

  • I love how it breaks the wood.

  • youre chopping method is total ineffective that knife could get threough through that wood twice as fast

  • Referring to a knife a knife with a 9 inch blade by it's over all length of 14 1/4" is like measuring your cock from 4 inches behind your asshole.

  • beast knife :)

  • what would you rate this knife on a scale of 1-10?

  • 9 becuase its bulky

  • 9.5

  • have u sharpened it or did it come that sharp?

  • pretty good

  • That's intimidating as hell...

  • give me profe thats its a bad knife plase

  • i chopped a limb 3 inches with this knife maybe 6 times 3 huge pieces of the blade broke off. crap knife. i have pics.

  • will u send me the picks because im thinking about buying this knife

  • if you want to know more about this one, look up the user "nutnfancy", he's reviewed the knife and tested it in the woods too, has vids.

  • eucalyptus. and you can take a huge bite of my sh*t.

  • what are you from down under? thats what you get for being a stupid aussie

  • i test my knives. what do you do with yours? spread jam on your boyfriends chest and trim your pedicured nails? or are you one of these dip shits that just buys knives to look at them and impress others? are you a female?

  • i see but if you had half a brain you would know better to test your kabar on eucalyptus fucktard

  • why dont you go and get your knives out and look at them. dont use them, you might get them dirty. lolol. what a pussy you are. i bet your mom is so proud of her daughterBOY.

  • yeah im going to run out and chop up some eucalyptus for my pet koala, why dont you learn how to use a knife before you break another one

  • hahahahahahhahahahahahaaa!!! dude you are fucking awesome!!!! XD

  • Great Review.

    Impressive knife.

I gave you 5 stars for really putting that knife through its paces.

  • and next is the video of the moron chopping his finger off

  • no, in the next video we are having you doing commentary so we can have "The MORON talking".

  • now that's a knoife!

  • I like the way the older Kabars look, you can still buy them today but they are a different model than this one. This one is a better performer, but it looks like a Becker knife and tool , which is no longer in business.

  • i have the same knife

  • thats great

  • he's out in the woods, lost for 3 days and he needs firewood to cook his pringles. but he forgets how to open it so he cuts it in half, only to find that THERES NO PRINGLES AHHH!!! so he goes back to cutting the firewood to cope with his hunger~ the end!!!

  • well said.

  • The CPM3V in my opinion, after testing it for about thirty hours is that it is just as good as INFI. I have sharpened INFI for about ten years and like the way CPM 3V sharpens up better too. But... all I have done to it so far is strop it because it still shaves. But know enough about steel that with my DMT's it will be pretty easy. I think I am going to thin the edge on my 1x30 first though but keep the V I am not a huge convex fan, but the last couple years have warmed up a little to it.

  • Noss you need to get a Final Judgement, I think you will like it better than you Busse knives. I have had a couple dozen including the FBM's and I am a Fehrman knife guy from here on out. Much better fit and finish, well worth the 360.00 I recommend the kydex sheath, buy of course it's personal preference.

  • Oh Shit I have this knife too! Agreed! So many know it alls that dont know shit about a knife.

  • Bowie?, David Bowie?

  • you stupid mug use a fuckin axe !!!!!!!!!

  • sometimes when your in the woods you dont always have an axe, but more than likely a knife.

  • Tis is a good test for strength but also because we buy stuff on teh internet and don't see it beforehand. Noss shows the product and then destroys it for our information and amusement.

  • any good military -grade combat knife can chop wood! but this is insane!

  • Wowzers! a Bowie Knife! and it's so kool it can split wood!!!

it's the best and rarest Knife to me! Flippy at Happy Tree Friends usually uses a Bowie Knife too to Assassinate people lol!!!!

  • HA HA HA.. I love some of You You Tube posters. You are the dumbest of the knife world.

  • lol I agree.

  • Part of the concept of a Bowie is that it can also be used as a hatchet. That's why they are typically made with heavy 1/4" thick blades.

  • @lpotts83 lol sure and when you acctualy want to use it at the mountains i'll be laughing when you drop your axe somewhere because you can't take the weight

  • @lpotts83 yeah this is actually a well known survival technique for cutting wood and the ideal tool in the bush with no saw is a survival knife such as this

  • @lpotts83 2 years later and youre still a fail

  • ( 2001 space odyssey theme here ) Duuuuuun DUUUUUN DUUUUUUUUUUUUUNN DUN DUUUUUUUUN

  • this was not a knife test this was just you messing arround in the back yard showing off your how stupid you are, when you fuck your blase up im gonna laugh at your ass

  • this was not a knife test this was just you messing arround in the back yard showing off your how stupid you are, when you fuck your blase up im gonna laugh at your ass

  • Had a bit of problems batonning..

A mora could probably do a better job.

  • he is a knife tester doulbe u dot knifetest dot com

  • this is probably for survival if you get lost hiking, not if ur in the backyard stupid(exept for the pringles)

  • to sabotager99

  • Wow go open your veins right now, you fail at life.

  • hey assmaster! make ur own fuckin vid before you start bashing. i don't see the point of of u typing. u obviously don't use knives at all. get over yourself

  • i like your bowie cuchillo(knife)

  • buy an axe theyre much better

  • yeah its over

  • longest knife show ever

  • The best Bowie knives were the ones used by the Air Force

  • nice blade, reminds me of "crocodile dundee"

  • interesting tho id love to see how well that thing works on something a little more animate. (ps i could of done that with a dull kitchen kife)

  • man, u ve got a point there... i mean, who the hell needs a bowie knife to chop wood :S

  • someone with only a bowie knife in a survival situation.

  • La verdad hay que ser boludo, hasta con el cuchillo de cocina mas ordinario se puede hacer, que manera estupida de jorobar el filo de un buen cuchillo, me pregunto por que no se golperara el pito este buen hombre

  • nice blade but a 'bit'too big to carry in my pocket when walking on the streets.

  • hmmm... kind of boring... you couldnt throw that knive. And for wood-choping, i got an axe, thats much more practical

  • You can throw any knife, its all about grip, stance, action and calculating spin.

  • Its KA-Bar by the way

  • that thing works better than my hatchet... :(

  • haha, throw your rambo knives away... things taht big are impractical.

  • Those Bowie Knives were practical enough in the 19th century when they were invented by James Bowie as far as hunting goes.

Although the really fancy ones are more for show these days,

You can buy the more expensive ones for about $250 dollars.

  • Good review.

But if I ever got to a lumber yard for survival.

I'll take a SKILL SAW. Works like a champ.

  • Man, that knife need to be sharpened.

  • sick knife bitches

  • Try a Khukuri

  • You should see if you can cut your wrists with it.

  • lol. Your twisted sense of humour appeases me.

  • that sucks, get a Busse

  • shit did u even sharpen the damn thing

  • should of used a hammer

  • Hitting metal on metal is horrible for the knife.

  • Really? Seriously?

  • In a survival situation, a knife SHOULD be able to do a reasonable amount of chopping and survive... BUT ONLY AS A LAST RESORT! I agree with the premise of this test just to see how much this blade will

take...but this doesn't mean anyone should go out and do it regularly...especially with a chopping job this large.

  • Speaking as someone who has spent more than half their life in the outdoors, I feel that i can tell you that i personally prefer my bowie knife to hauling around an axe. It is smaller, better for chopping (in many but not all situations), more accurate, and just all around a better tool. I also know for a fact that I am not the only one who has this opinion.

  • I use a British MOD survival knife and Ka-Bar 1943 pattern USMC blade but the opinion is the same. I don't need to cut that that dense when in the wilderness to warrant the extra weight of an axe and a good, robust blade is far more versatile.

  • I don't get it... So its like an axe for serial killers?

  • if his hand slides a but he loses all his fingers while drilling like that

points for black n decker drill 100

drill points for K bar 10

  • .... have you actully stabbed someone? its better than a block of wood....

  • You know...they have an invention that chops logs. It's called an axe. And cutting the board...they have a thing called a jigsaw. Makes neater cuts. If you don't have power you can use a coping saw. And for holes...they have a rotary bit device called a drill. Go to Home Depot. They can help you out.

  • What if you get lost in the woods while you're out camping? Hmm? Gonna carry an axe, jigsaw, and a drill around with you?

  • Dude thats hard core. That is one serios knife! Where can I purchase one? I was thinking of buying the Anaconda 2 with Tanto tip from Tops Knives. What do you think?

  • ur knifes gonna die lol.

  • JASON !!! JASON !!! JASON !!! Go Jason!!! Show those sluts what your knife can do. Where's the blood?

  • Is this is a trailer for the new Friday the 13th movie? Is that Jason preparing for the next batch of summer camp sluts.

  • thanks for the KaBar demo noss4

    markv bf

  • you need a better baton bro!!!

    Sweet vid! thanks
