This was almost certainly recorded when they'd just lost 7-1 and sacked Brian Gunn, but before they signed Paul Lambet was approached. This, after that result, is what every commentator was saying at the time.

It's easy to sit back now and say "Oh, he's talking shit", but think about when it was recorded and it'd be a common view. Most people thought "Fuck, they're in trouble" when that happened.

I think he jumped the Gunn (Pun intended) by saying we would go down again. I think it would have been more digestible if he had of said we would struggle rather than writing us off like that. But hey, we are now going strong in the Prem so we have had the last laugh. Actions speak louder than words and we are proof of that! OTBC!

And very true, 'struggle' would have been more appropriate but I suppose it's a few hours after the matches finish and we've just seen a fairly strong Norwich team downed by Colchester United.
