Gabe and Stephen (trumpet and trombone players) are part of the touring band, not the "band band." I'm not sure why, if you pay attention they're in a lot of the music videos.

How I miss this No Doubt. I went to their concert here in New Jersey two days ago. And I am so very disappointed, more than that, I am sad. It seems like I lost a friend, an old friend. I was on the third row and was able to see them up close. By my side I had a family of four, their daughters were 7 and 8, on the other side were a group of teens around the age of 13 or 14

honestly, i'm a huge sublime fan, but it's a no doubt song. lbda did sublime songs that brad wrote. so i think if eric and bud were ok with performing sublime songs after brad's passing then it's more than ok for no doubt to perform a song that they wrote.
