  • amen sister your right on target!

  • If we are serious about democracy we have to break away from the two party paradigm.

  • I voted for Dr. Ron Paul for the primaries and after they did not let me vote for him any longer I voted for Dr. Chuck Baldwin and the Constitution party electors as my final vote.I felt so good because I voted for peoples FREEDOM and Liberty that we still have protected by the US Constitution (if we use it before we louse it)...I do not know if my vote was counted because he was Write in in my state, but I felt so good writing ALL my names in and recorded it ;)

  • This one too (same speech):

Should I keep back my opinions at such a time, through fear of giving offense, I should consider myself as guilty of treason towards my country.

    --Patrick Henry, March 23rd, 1775

I don't know about you but I LOVE this guy! Thomas Jefferson too.

  • Mr. President, it is natural to man to indulge in the illusions of hope. We are apt to shut our eyes against a painful truth, and listen to the song of that siren till she

    transforms us into beasts...

    - Patrick Henry, March 23rd, 1775

  • Fucking awesome post. Excuse the profanity, but its about saving liberty, and it deserves it :)

  • £££ and the lobbies have great power to control elections.

  • Third party can wait. Theres no time for that shit right now.

  • @RacerEckss When will there be "time" for it? What if there was no time for it when the anti-slavery party ran? When the farmers rights party ran? When the women's suffrage party ran? When third parties that introduced medicare and social security ran? All of these parties were the FIRST to put these policies on the table. How do we achieve these policies? Through political pressure by supporting them (with votes). The candidates don't win, but the policies do over time. And now is the best time

  • no like McBama. Ron Paul endorses Nader or Baldwin. Good enough for me. Ron Paul did the right thing by gaining visibility for the Revolution by running as a Repub this year. Many heard his message.

  • K thanks, you sold me.

  • Yup, I voted for Ron Paul. It put a smile on my face. I know I did the right thing and didn't give in to voting for the lesser of two evils.

  • VOTE! Why?

If you don't like the Republicrats and their "me too" ONE party system, vote for any 3rd party the YOU believe in so that you will be COUNTED as one who is engaged, watching and cares.

Personally, I am like Dr. Paul and I believe in FREEDOM through the rule of law (not men) and the Constitution so my vote supports Constitution or Libertarian party candidates.

Not voting is telling them that you don't care!

    You DO care, RIGHT?

  • it's not that complicated. one needs to figure out if they are Conservative or Liberal. Claiming I'm in the middle is a cop out. And that doesn't mean u have to be extreme either. After that, simply pick one of the authentic liberals (Nader, McKinney) or an authentic Conservative (Baldwin). For those who want to be left alone, there's the Libertarian (Barr (though he's suspect)).

  • btw, why haven't we heard any new songs from you. Man oh man, you gotz the super talent and u letting it go to waste over boyfriend issues. grow up and start song writing and singing more. please the world needs more authenticity and you're being selfish. Accept your big personality and just go for it. it may be a struggle but in the end you cannot fail. Super talent never does.

  • Right on

  • If you live in a state that polls heavy for one or the other, that one will win the state. Voting for the lesser of 2 evils wont change that. Vote 3rd party and give them some numbers that will shake things up.

  • America needs a centrist party that doesn't cater to the fringe groups of the Right or Left. The Centrist Party should be pragmatic, seeking to preserve America's culture, borders and language. The "melting pot" approach to immigration should be resurrected. The Centrist Party should support a "Work For Health Care" program that enables full-time and part-time workers to get tiered levels of coverage. Encourage and reward productivity - don't tax and penalize it.

  • WRITE-IN RON PAUL! Love your video.

  • Ironically, Ron Paul ended up looking like a genius after the Wall Street meltdown occurred. Too bad that Nancy Pelosi, who is falling behind her botox injections, and marble-mouthed Barney Frank think they can fix the economy. Then we have the big drunken spender - George Bush. Dems and Repubs both are corrupt and incompetent.

  • the pep talk is awful nice, but you are awful cute yourself and you remind me how important it is to find a chick that is cute but most importantly can have a good conversation and be intelligent.

Then that Joni song at the end always pulls my heartstrings.

    much peace,

    B

  • I stole this from somewhere, now I pass it to you.

Individual voting is not about picking the winner...it is about supporting the candidate that best represents you. No one vote decides the winner, so the wasted vote is the one that goes to the candidate you think is most likely to win. You should vote for what you believe, otherwise the political establishment will never hear your voice.

  • Sounds similar to what Jesse Ventura said at RP's Rally For The Republic.

  • the only reason third partys don't get to the top is because they don't pander, and they have extreme views. I'm not saying whether I agree with those views or not, but you can't get to the top of the pile if you don't do any pandering

  • yup!
