@MrGrevy So everything is equal eh ? ha ha ha, ive got the kurosawa version its a good film with a few magic moments with the witch/demon, but there are a number of weaknesses, several crucial scenes are missing, eg his last stand where 'no man of woman born can kill him' and Lady macbeth seems wooden, the main charecters are lacking any personality, totally overshadowed by the equivilant of macbeth. Also the main charcter dies far too quickly and easily. p.s arent you an elitist swine ?
My brother and I were small boys when our father took us to see this in a cavernous, cold, old brick building circa 1950 or '51. It scared the wits out of us and gave my little brother nightmares. We only realized later that it was his expanation and way of apologizing to us: See...This is what I've got to put up with.
This version rocks! It really brings the horror elements out which so many other versions fail to do. Reminds me of the classic Universal horror movies. Classic!
Yeah im actually downloading this as i write this! haha! Awesome! I have an audition and i am preforming the "is this a dagger i see before me..." Monologue on sunday!
