  • My grandpa hardy is the first one they show and the dude pointing at the ocean. It was a trip seeing this randomly on tv when I had no idea my aunt had gone on the show.

  • Wow! that song still gives me the chills! One of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard, and it truly brought me peace with loss of my brother, Don...you are just so beautiful.

  • a veri beautiful song..

i always used to be afraid of death...coz i thot it was the end of the journey...

but now im sure theres an afterlife....which depends on how we live on earth!

i welcome death with both hands..i dont fear it!

  • this is so beautiful!!! thank you for sending this to me!!!..I had to do the video for Brad as a way of it's time to go on...I never went to his funeral,or never have been to his grave yet and it's been 5 yrs..but the night of his funeral his friends came by and we rode up on bikes (10 of them total) to this HUGE cross that lights up everywhere and just sat and laughed, cried and just remebered such a beautiful person...it was so beautiful!!! THANK YOU again for sending this!!!

  • Great

  • this song is beautiful

  • I have always loved this song, the lyrics are just so moving. Thank U for posting here.

  • Background vocals are performed by Ellis Paul, another terrific folk singer songwriter. Get as many CDs from each as you can - they will not disappoint. My favorite from Don C is Boxes of Bones. All are available at his website.

  • Ive known this song for a while - had no clue who sang it - but appreciated it completely. Its so moving. Big respect for this song AND now I know who it is - a big thanks to Don.

  • I saw this video years ago. Got on the internet and looked up Don Conoscenti, and ordered the "Paradox of Grace" cd. He emailed me back a few times as I told him I wanted the music for my memorial service. I'm only thinking ahead I told him. I'ts the perfect song to let others know not to feel sad about you being away from them because they will finally be free of the physical body.

  • It really is a wonderful song for a memorial service, to remind us that death is just a blip on our total radar screen, from one air space to another :) Thanks for your comment. And yes, Don is a wonderful, personable man :)

  • I was lucky enough to see John Edwards when he came to London and hes not a sack of shit actually, as for the song i think its really beautiful... why bother to comment if you dont like it just go onto something else.... loosers

  • Wonderful song, very touching. Who is John Howard? LOL

  • Beautiful song.. lovely lyrics..

  • This song is beautiful and very sad.

  • HEALTHY skepticism is a welcome thing here :) Yeah it's a great song and Don's a great songwriter and artist :)

  • Beautiful song. I'm still a bit skeptical about John Edward's authenticity, but it was a great vid.

  • Continued -Don, a beautiful song, that lights me up like the 4th of July - yes, I remember! Thank you all so much!

  • I am stunned. I had no idea about this. It has been a long time since I've seen Don; we used to cross paths in Atlanta where we both performed at The Freight Room. I was read by John Edward in June of 2001 in one of the most important moments of my life - a long story, but very much one of how our loved ones arrange for opportunities to communicate. The ripples from that one reading affected many lives and still affects me today.

  • Crikey, I knew nothing of this. I love Don and used to watch this program...and James Van Praagh.
