You need new bass strings, or a better finger tecnique, because you have to much extra sound on the bass. And Im not a music noob. Ive been playing a bass for a while.

@TheIanful Oh you are absolutely right! I SOOO need new strings, a new cord especially ( uber noisy) and a new amp. I think my action is a lil high too. I'm learning ( teaching myself ) bass and what keeps me back is that i try to sing at the same time - its so contrary. I need lessons too. It'll allow you to balance the volume better too.

I've watched your other video as well and I think you're doing pretty good. Your left hand might need a bit improvement though, perhaps you should take a look around for some left hand exercises? While at first it may be tricky to use your left hand to the fullest, a month or two practice will make playing a lot easier and feel more natural.
