I have to say that this is my favorite non SLR camera ever. I still use it more than any other camera. I was searching for some back up filters when this video popped up in the resluts. I have both the wide and tele lenses and I love them. The tele even with Sony's wonderful steady shot does require a very steady hand or a tripod (I prefer the latter). I also found some very inexpensive non-Sony brand lenses that work with a ring at Amazon. There is a fish eye listed there also for under $50 US!

They are not Sony brand however they have 74mm listed as well as others (in the 70 range) that can be purchased and used with an adapter ring. type in DSC-H50 in the search box and several items will come up. I do suggest that you read the reviews though as some of the genric filters won't be high quality and make sure you read the description throughly so you know if you need the adapter ring.
@tmaq97 Honestly the adapter ring is a great thing to have for our Sony only size lens. In the event we ever are not able to find lenses and filters we will be able to use the adapter ring and still use this great camera!
can someone tell me how much optical does this tele lens reach ? the default of the camera is 15x how much is that will be higher with this lens ? or it is not calculated like that , or am fuckin ignorant or whattttttttttttt

@emokhtar well i may be wrong, but the lens is 1.7x so for optical it maybe 25.5 i am not sure but i was looking on the camera box it states the tele-end max is 790mm not sure if this helps, if not i'm sorry

It's almost like SLR except it cost way less. The results are amazing. If you could get it for $300 get it. Some are selling it for $600 so don't get ripped off. When it first came out it was $500 but I got it on clearance from Sony for $280. I bought the last item from the website lol.
its saleing for 499.99 at bestbuy and else where is like 600 like you said. i actually just brought the DSC-H20 instead cause its smaller and it cost less. i heard that it can have conversion lens too. is that true? and how would you rate this camera?
i think for his price, this is the best camera you will found in the market... very easy to use... and have almost everything you need, from video to nightshot... you will love it!!!

guys can someone please post some pictures showing the differeneces between capturing with and without the add up lenses? Is it worth buying? im really thinking of buying both of them but they cost quite as much as the camera itself
and if you don't want to pay that must for these lens, you can try the pl filter (VF-74CP)... very good, it reduce the reflection off of water or windows and gives very nice shots of a sunny day (example) without that blast of light that usually cannot be remove. thats all i could find for this model...
and by the way... those lenses are available in any sony company... you just order them from belgium... and just to know, the tele conversion lens have about 155euro and about 125 for the wide conversion lens... if you order them from belgium!! good prices i believe...
