  • More videos like this!!!! IT'S THE ONLY WAY!!!

  • Again,Gemmaashford is one of the most amazing persons i have ever met in my life, absolutely selfless. she is always giving and giving without asking for nothing in return and in return she gets too little. This monkey needs help, because it needs it, and if you are a monkey hater it doesnt mean this monkey doesnt need help. She made the choice of caring about others pain and when u made that desicion,u suffer just as the other does.By the way she is also vegetarian, So sign!!!!

  • those stupid ppl

  • You saved 1 monkey and you know everything? I guess you learn by osmosis. I am really not interested in your bragging, and am far from being shamed by you. I have lived all over the world in my 70 years, and have experienced different cultures. In parts of the world, these things are concerted vermin and are tortured to death. Everything I ever observed about monkeys tell me their incredibly stupid, people want to believe their smart because they look human.

  • It is no wonder that the monkey is still stuck in a cage when I read all the responses here- most of which are against the monkey and what we are trying to do...human beings are beyond reproach...it seems from the support that we have that there is no hope for the monkey...

  • @gemmaashford1 What gets me is that everyone is concerned for this monkey, but think nothing stopping at the drive thru and getting their hamburger. This is a park compared to a slaughterhouse. Some people just have to realize that the monkey haters outnumber the monkey lovers. The monks are trying to do good, more than I can say for most people in general. Monkeys are hated by a majority of the people that live near them.

  • @junkintrunk55 Everyone being who? From what I can see here, there is nothing but negative responses here. I live in Thailand and due to my work- rescuing animals, I have to visit the temple on a weekly basis...what is wrong with trying to help any animal that I see suffering including this monkey? If you have nothing positive to say then please don't say anything...I have enough problems dealing with death and cruelty on a daily basis and don't need this...

  • @gemmaashford1 For having so many problems, you seem to have more than enough time to put out happy crap on you tube. If all you see is negative in people. then that's your choice. People will live up or down to your expectations. The days I can walk, I work at the Big Cat Sanctuary near here. I can either see the negative in the abuse they have suffered, or see the positive in the life they are going to have now. It's a simple choice. BTW, it's a public forum, and I will write whatever I want.

  • @junkintrunk55 and as far as drive thru's go...I have been a vegetarian since I was 8 and don't do fast food...not that there is such a place in the middle of the jungle!!

  • It is no wonder that the monkey is still stuck in a cage when I read all the responses here- most of which are against the monkey...human beings are disgraceful, beyond reproach and beyond hope...and so is the monkey...

  • Hhahahaha

  • They need a longer stick.

  • @BritishSockAccount u are sick

  • ha ha stupid shit bag monkey i hope this story has a happy ending and it dies

  • Now there's a man with Terrets if ever I saw one!!!

  • @ta2joe13 i hope u have a happy ending and u die and so we will be free at least from one useless piece of meat hahaha

  • ha ha stupid shit bag monkey

  • @ta2joe13 wtf r u? you and the other 3 bastards are the proof that this world is full of rubbish...hahaha

  • You can but these things in the cage for around 20 American Dollars. If you are traveling and don't have that much, you shouldn't be traveling. My sister bought 42 for under $30.00, with a cage, took them out to the forest and let them go. How hard is that? The ones that have been "trained" by the roadside\, can cost as much as $50.00, but the normal caged ones can be bought for under $1.00.

  • Thanks, but these Monkeys wouldn't survive in the wild. They have to be re-introduced gradually with the aid of a sanctuary if possible. With some Monkeys, depending on their breed and background, they could never survive in the wild and need to live in a sanctuary- preferably one mirroring as much as possible, life in the wild.

  • @gemmaashford1 We think we know so much, and nature can't heal herself without us "helping". Any troop will take in the females, the males will live until they either die in a fight, or find a troop to put in. I have heard these arguments before, but they hold no water. They die in the wild all the time. A wild monkey has a less than 40% chance of making it. Throwing money at a problem doesn't solve it.

  • Into the mouths of poachers or life in a cage...either seem pretty hopeless to me...where was your sister? I don't think that Monks would take bribes here...I am not travelling. I run an animal sanctuary in Sangklaburi, Thailand and have little- no funds...I don't know anything about Monkeys only what I have heard from a Thai sanctuary who was helping us take care of a sick Monkey from a temple. I want to help the Monkey and not make it's life/ death worse...

  • @gemmaashford1 My sister was in India at the time. Personally I hate them and couldn't care less. I will not allow myself to go near them because I would hurt them. I was just passing on what she did.

They are smart enough to make an honest living in the wild. Poachers, from what I'm told are after different animals due to the breeders. They have taken the price down on a monkey so it's not profitable to go after them any more. As far as the monks go money talks, even with them.

  • @junkintrunk55 so far as i know u know wrong.poachers kill anything that moves,if they are after somethng and see a monkey, why not to kill it?how the hell do u thnk a baby monkey survives and the mother dies? is it natural?and magically it comes into a cage in a temple? if u only can hurt them, wtf are u writing here with only ignorant opinions of somebody who never involves?everybody only speak and criticize whithout having any actual idea, only to make life of others miserable, how noble!welldone

  • @yinkon You have no knowledge of the real world. I am writing from personal experience. Poachers trap the troop, usually missing the alpha male. Poachers are only concerned with what brings money. If money is to be made with live animals, then they trap them live. Sounds just like the labs to me. As long as these people make money, they will continue. I pity you, not even thinking 1 animal should be saved.

  • @junkintrunk55 @junkintrunk55 hahah that was funny because i was in Thailand and took myself a monkey from a temple.Real world? i thought about writing all the things i have lived and done in my short life already, u would be too ashamed, so better... the important thing is I do everything i can all the time to rescue animals, that is my reason to live actually, so dont make me laugh...

  • @junkintrunk55 Thank You Pamela!! I have only just seen this reply...thanks for saying something productive! I really don't see the point of other peoples ranting...what good does it do?!! Surely these people have something better to do than be nasty...what a waste of energy...! :-) xx

  • @gemmaashford1 I guess you don't have the time to see who your even responding to.

  • @junkintrunk55 Then, why don't you come and visit my animal sanctuary instead of judging it so wrongly? Oh, and you can't write whatever you want on here as I will block you.

  • It's such a sad and miserable sight... Why doesn't the buddhist monk do something over there?

  • @stroaters the Buddhist monks are ignorant and say things like- they love the monkey and it is their karma to care for them- but they are not caring for them! they have no concept of an animals quality of life being more than just food and water...

  • I WANT TO BEAT THOSE KIDS! tormenting that poor monkey. GET HIM OUT!

  • we are trying...there seems to be a lack of good Monkey sanctuaries in Thailand...we are trying to contact them, but so far, nothing!

  • @gemmaashford1 ok than, good luck. i hope you find one :)

  • Yes, please get him out! have more luck this time!

  • Brilliant footage... People don't often get to see things like this.

    WE WILL GET THEM OUT
