  • no thats why i bought the sony mdr xb 500

and i have a pair of sennheiser hd 800 yes hd 800

  • I got one for xmas! I am really excited for testing them!!!

  • they r called on ear headphones dumbass

  • Psh ... "Apple gives you quality products" ... Get out of here

  • @youskass It depends on how much you take care of them. For example, I've had my iPhone 3GS for over a year and it doesn't have a scratch on it anywhere.

  • Etymotic ER-4P are way better than tours u cant hear anything and there are not fakes out there and there about the same price of amazon there amazing

  • do you prefer te solo one or the tour one?

  • thanks man.im getting the solo hd cuz they appear to be the better buy.thanks for the help

  • LOL 2pac in the back round XD

  • also do you know if the solo HD's are sound the same as the studios but without the noise canceling?

  • i heard these have the same drivers as the studios. So thats that mean they sound the same without the noise cacelling?

  • studio quality sounds isway better than the solo

  • good review , keep it up

  • solos are easy to snap

  • They are on ear headphones so they aren't supposed to cover your ears! So it shouldn't be one of your cons you knew what they were when you bought em!

  • Yeah but are you willing to spend an extra $200 to get the only pair of headphones in the Beats lineup that do cover your ears?

  • great review

  • omg these headphones got noise cancellation as good as the studio version tried them out today at the apple store...

but have to admit that the studios are better louder.. better base

but the solo is not that loud but still good base..

  • Is the sound quality the same as the studio or is the studios better?

  • Studios are a lot better. The noise cancellation on them is actually battery powered.

  • @TechNewsandReviews Consumer Reports gave Monster Beats by Dr. Dre Solo a 40 out of 100. Sound Quality is "Fair."

CR says, "Overall, these headphones have a warm character, with a weak lower bass and a pronounced upper bass that has good impact but so-so definition. Midrange is soft and muffled, and treble sounds recessed and rolled off. Dynamics were a bit compressed, and the sound was a bit closed-in."

CR recommends the Sony PIIQ Giiq MDR-PQ2 ($50). 71 out of 100. Sound Quality is "Very Good."

  • there is no noise cancellation .

  • A kid at my school walks around with the studios.

  • I'm really not a headphone fan so I guess I will never buy this kind of headphone.

  • wooot only 70 more subs till power/magic mouse giveaway!!

  • i mean mighty/magic
