Custom UI sounds jailbroken iPhone/ iPod touch 3.0

On the iPod Touch, which UI sound would you change to customize the default "tri-tone" push notification sound?

@rocket1995 Yes they can! It's not winterboard that slows down the touch/phone it's the theme! If you have a black background and no custom icons and just edit the sound it's all good

Guys its alot better to just make a theme. you dont have to edit system files!! make a folder say test.theme and make a folder IN that folder called UIsounds and ssh to your ipod enable with winterboard

@wazzzup95 Yea then you need winterboard though and it has been proven to slow down the phone. This skips winterboard, I wouldnt install winterboard on a 3G or iPod touch 1 or 2G because they can't handle it.

Like the video. perfect pace. BUT, when I drag and drop to iphonebrowser the new audio file shows up as "unlock.caf.aiff" instead of unlock.caf. Even though I renamed it...

never mind. use replace option.

you have to make it so that you can edit file extentions, go to control panel>folder options and its in there somewhere
