@birthnight if you search up "Jetstream Refueling" you will find a TV show all about the training of a Canadian F-18 Pilot. They tell how fustrating and nerve racking it is.
@liverstoner I'd say no, since landing on a carrier at night leaves no room for error, and this, if you miss the hose, its just a redo and once you get them attached, there is wiggle room
