It must have been in the Rockbox build I was using, at the time. This was two years back, so it was probably a forked build like Kugel's build.

Yes, it's built into Rockbox, although you have to activate it. It saves the info to a file which you can upload later.

This is on the Rockbox replacement firmware. For the Sansa E200's, it only works on the version 1 players.

You don't have to install it.

If you own an player which runs Rockbox you can find there all plugins which are avaible to that player.

In each album folder, you can add a "cover.bmp" image file. that's what Rockbox, and this plugin, will use for Album Art.

I have a sansa e280, and Rockbox totally sucks, it fucked up my battery life, since I installed it my computer doesn't read my mp3 player, sometimes files go missing, the navigation is horrible, sometimes it doesn't respond when I press the buttons.

Well To get it to connect all you have to do is turn off ur sansa. then plug it in and it will start up the connection auto

I got it on eBay - just search "CLEAR CASE E200" and you should see a bunch. Also sold at pcmicrostore,com. The case itself is pretty good and has already paid for itself (I dropped the Sansa - twice). The belt clip is very cheap, however (the reason WHY I dropped it twice).

After spending a weekend with my Sansa E280 and my wife's 3G Nano... I REALLY want this...

For the build I was using (it's been updated since then), the tricky part was making sure the database was configured in Rockbox, and also that all my covers were 100x100. It's still a demo and does not actually play songs - hopefully the developers will get that working, soon.

not at all. There's an installer. It won't work on any of the new ipods and none of the shuffles, so don't bother. iPodlinux works on all but new, shuffle, 2G nano, and 5.5G Video.

This was the first Kugel custom Rockbox build for the Sansa - I got it working with "cover.bmp" files for all my albums (the same ones that work with album art).
