It's just 1,2,3,4,5,6  juggled around using

3 notes per string !

@cyanidde it isn't necessarily a "scale" per se...He's modulating keys or modes (depending how you want to look at it) every 6 notes. 3 notes on the B-string 3 notes on the High-E string. Then go up two frets repeat or 1 fret..hes kinda landing where his ear is telling him to go...

@BrianMorrison71 This is the "Kramer Ad guitar". It's a Frankenstien copy Kramer made for hime when he started endorsing them. It came before the 5150 which he made at the Kramer factory. You can google it and see a post of him with it. Type in "Kramer Frankenstein. I've made a replica of it but with a tope coat of blue.

yea i know i mean i've looked at any bootleg i could find but never seen this footage, he seems to be using a little bit duller tone than us festival which i dont mind its a change.

2 things changed eds earlier tone. He had his original '70 Marshall plexi stolen on a flight after '80 invasion tour, and he switched to the floyd rose at that same time, which gave him a tinny,trebly tone. His earlier tone was much better(first 3 tours). Us festival tone is kinda lame, but eddie just plugs in and plays.

I think it is his best tone. He tunes down to D with a drop D on that album, which gave him a huge sound for 1980. The best album. Tensions were hat at the time. He just married valerie and wanted to quit VH and join Kiss 'cause he hated dave and got along with Gene. Gene said he was stupid, so his anger came out in his playing. I read that somewhere back in the day. RRAAWWKK!!!!
