Chip that diesel and you would be surprised what it can do. For your amusement, look up some videos of US diesel pickups (dodge cumming, duramax, powerstroke) clowing Feraris at the track. (straight-line, of course).

Mercedes were the worlds first auto maker and have more respect than any jap piece of crap. Mercedes do luxury and performance. Unless you have an Sti subaru they are a waste of space. My friend always dreamed of owning one and when he got it, ive never seen a man so disappointed with his underpowered, rough, ugly piece of crap

You are obviously a badge snob that knows nothing about cars not me. The subaru will beat the merc in everything apart from luxery and maybe top speed, but who drives around at 150 all day. I dont need to be pamperd whilst driving, I like to have some fun. Grow a brain and learn that big mercs arnt the be all and end all of cars

There's nothing about being a badge snob involved in what people who like Lexus, BMW and Mercs in particular etc. the fact is that they make better cars. Name one area where a budget car maker beats any of those companies. They have prestigious badges for a reason. If you are willing to accept inferior quality in every other part of the car for slightly better handling(which is debatable) then fine by me. As for being a badge snob i will take an Alfa over most cars so that rules that out.

I also find it very hard to believe an extra 15bhp makes a car 2seconds faster 0-100mph. Look i think imprezas are a decent car for what they are but c'mon to compare them to Mercedes or any luxury brand is ludicrious.
they give you so much more in every area and if you ever drive one you will realise that.

Well that depends what you are comparing doesn't it, if you want a fast car thats fun to drive, handles well, not too heavy, then the impreza is the choice. If you want to wallow around being pamperd and cut off from the word then a big merc is for you.

obviously you know less about cars then you think you do, just like how you think you can spell properly. SiKE- benz are heavy and slow. they are fast that is a given BUT only because of its massive engine. and the only class that is race worthy would be the AMG line. WHICH YOU would pay thousands of dollars for. give that amount of money to tune up a cheaper car WOULD SMOKE THE SHIT out of a benz like melting butter. after the amount of money tuned into say an EVO benz cant tune thatfarniether

most people dont need more cyl, like men with small pee-pees/ aka bmw owners with there 6,8 + cyl. loose the extra cyl. unless your making up for a lack of something.
