Dragtimes, when are you going to have professional drivers, i mean PROFESSIONAL, and not Sunday Drivers?
because these 1/4 and 1 mile times are just Fucked up, especially the Bugatti vs Koenigsegg ones. I could swear these drivers are dumb, OR you manipulate these races.
I really think the guy driving this Viper can't drive. Watch all of these videos, same guy, same car. He just fucks up somehow every time. Not saying the Viper is FOR SURE faster.... it may not be in this case, I'm just saying the driver somehow fucks up. Either way, both quarter mile times are horrible for them both being supercharged. I've seen both run faster stock.
In Drag Racing games app, I tuned the viper, when the race starts, I skipped 123shift and hit the NOS.then perfect shift on 5 and 6.lol..it runs 1/4m in 8sec

@07Z06ss Running a 1/4 mile and a mile do not imply the same cartography or engine settings. Stock ZR1 or SRT10 would probably do 11 or 12s on a quarter but on a mile they would be smoked by these 700hp muscle You can see it with the vette which goes slowly in the beginning and pulls to death in the end. It's a speed settings whether the viper had different acceleration settings which limited the speed. That's why the vette won. Just know it.

I have watched every race they have of that C6 and it struggles in the low end but once that beast cracks into third its off like a rocket closing every gap so far.
I just dont think he can control that corvette off the line, to much torque. If he put that to the floor immediately through all the gears he probably will be slamming it into the wall before second gear or 3rd
@camarocanam y top end depends on what gears I put in . I run a 9" and have many different gears to choose from . I I were to somplay put in my 3.08s or even my 3.50s I could take them in the qt or top end .

Typical Viper alot of noise and lose of traction and a Fail at the end. The Corvette starts out slow because he doesn't want to get wrecked by the Viper.
@speedforhire looked like they got brighter at 23 though...idk, 750hp viper losing to a 550hp gtr doesnt add up when at 600 hp stock viper shits on the 530hp stock gtr.
Z06 most likely has a G-Force gear set which is completely aimed towards top end runs(1/2mile+). It shortens 1-5 and allows the Vette to use 6th to accelerate instead of it just being a MPG cruising gear. Thus keeping the Vette in its optimum power band the entire time. Regardless both are sick cars I thought the Viper would do a little better.
I love the Viper SRT10 my second favorite car but the Viper's 5th gear sucks balls yu just don't go faster its like yu kinda slow down. That's why the Corvette beat it
Can anyone actually watch the video! Sheesh. I think if the Viper actually got a good start instead of just spinning tire half way down the first 1/4 mile the time would have been so much better. Gotta admit he's a good driver though for keeping it under control. But he's a bad driver because he did not but burn through first until the limiter said, "Fuck you!" and he shifted into second.
That corvette is probably geared differently, it always gets beat off the start, but it waxes the other cars in higher gears. I watched 4 videos of that car and it does the same thing every time. Or the corvette driver gets his opponents hopes up and then crushes them
Apparently a supercharged viper with 750 horses does a quarter mile in 12.5 yet the stock viper has 600 horses and can do the quarter in 10.9........ These drag videos are fucking retarded

i love both of the super musclecars but something about the viper last gearing i don't understand... On battle of the supercars with Tanner and Paul were racing both of these cars in a full mile and its always the viper with a strong head start but when its time get in five gear it lose the power and torque and that's where corvette always win... Dodge need to change the gearing ratio

Z06 most likely has a G-Force gear set which is completely aimed towards top end runs(1/2mile+). It shortens 1-5 and allows the Vette to use 6th to accelerate instead of it just being a MPG cruising gear. Thus keeping the Vette in its optimum power band the entire time. Regardless both are sick cars I thought the Viper would do a little better.

Can anyone actually watch the video! Sheesh. I think if the Viper actually got a good start instead of just spinning tire half way down the first 1/4 mile the time would have been so much better. Gotta admit he's a good driver though for keeping it under control. But he's a bad driver because he did not but burn through first until the limiter said, "Fuck you!" and he shifted into second.

That corvette is probably geared differently, it always gets beat off the start, but it waxes the other cars in higher gears. I watched 4 videos of that car and it does the same thing every time. Or the corvette driver gets his opponents hopes up and then crushes them

i love both of the super musclecars but something about the viper last gearing i don't understand... On battle of the supercars with Tanner and Paul were racing both of these cars in a full mile and its always the viper with a strong head start but when its time get in five gear it lose the power and torque and that's where corvette always win... Dodge need to change the gearing ratio
