I JUST bought this same model. From nitrorcx.com. Pay 270 after shipping and with the steering box. I want to get a range of tires. One that are plastic ones with rubber on the inside and outside and then all rubber tires. Where would be the best place to pick up extra parts tires re-seted rims and alum replacement parts for when the plastic ones break. And a better battery for more speed and torque
Any ideas where's the best place to order from. Thanks
to MrRaymond133 i have the driftstar and it is a very great car for beginners. i have had it for about three years and i am still driving it.. my friend has the new driftking and i drove it last week...and now im switching to the driftking! both are great cars! and a word of wisdom....do NOT buy the 60$ driftbox..it hinders the car and doesn't let you get completely sideways!
@TheBigCodNation It's perfect if you're a beginner or have used R/C cars before. It's super fast but not impossible to control. I think you'll have fun with it.
@MrRaymond133 It's a good beginner drift package. Comes brushless and LiPo ready as well as a 2.4Ghz radio system. I definitely recommend them for first-time buyers/beginners.
@TheCAM3R0N They're linked to the steering servo. When you turn a certain direction they activate. You can have the lights do whatever you want though; pulse, solid, etc
@scbjgs Very much so. New drift tires are super slick plastic. And with the brushless motor they basically spin in place no matter what. Once you get that plastic shredded down though, you get a bit more grip and therefore, more control. This does come stock brushless. Make sure you get the "brushless edition" though. Because it comes in both types (brushless/brushed). The brushless edition is about $197.
@Sn1P3R1735 It definitely takes some getting used to. This car is a lot faster than the beginner E10 car I purchased. I think the tires are too slick for the amount of power this car gives out. I'll have to get some grippier drift tires later. You can buy a Drift Box gyro to put on the car that helps with handling though.
@jsjensen04 One more thing, is Supermate DC6 Doublpower Balance Charger (Blue) good chargers for Gens ace LIPO 5000mAh 40C 7.4V battery i mean that it charges that battery? i dont understand all words in english >.<' and thanks for the answer.
What the top speed

The blinker lights are kind of gay (really, who uses their blinkers while drifting?). Pretty good job drifting though.

does it go faster than the driftstar brushless
xPuRExXxSNiPERx 6 months ago
@xPuRExXxSNiPERx They both use the same 3300KV motor. Speed will depend on the battery you use (NiMH or LiPo). But the DriftStar doesn't have LEDs ;)

would u recromend them?

@jsjensen04 i got question cos im planning to buy this RC car, does the Gens ace LIPO 5000mAh 40C 7.4V battery fit to it / work at it?
SomeThingGotYou 7 months ago
@SomeThingGotYou It sure will. No problem at all. This car comes with a LiPo ready ESC/Motor. I wouldn't go higher than 7.4V though.
