Never heard such a bad accent...changing from the north of England down to Devon and beyond ....in the same sentence!!
Make your mind up which accent you want to use and practise it. !!!

@planetxmoon beams are just laying on the posts,weight of the decking holds it down, screwed with 5cm stainless steel screws, would recommend treated wood for the beams, decking still intact after 7 years

gonna have a crack at building one in the corner of the garden(3040x2400).preparation is the key i bet!...

TOP TIP FOR ANYONE DOIN' THIS.....
When you dig your holes for the supporting posts - dig the hole a little deeper & lay a Concrete (Breeze) Block FLAT in the bottom under the upright post to support the weight of the whole deck....
