Mischa, who is pictured is almost 11 lbs and is very tall...however, when she lays down, there is more than enough room. Because she is so tall, I extended the harness strap from the skybox, that the Kurgo comes in with an additional clasp, similar to the one that comes with the seat, that attaches to the dog at the other end. For a shorter dog, you wouldn't need to do this. I just bought another one recently from Amazon....about $45. I'm very happy with it.
Just looked at the video....it was before I extended the harness strap. I wanted her to be able to easily turn around. I just took the strap off the part that is attached to the back of the seat, attached it to a small quick link, the same type as the one that attaches to her body harness...then re-attached it back to the metal part on the back of the seat.
Mischa is adorable! But please don't drive and film at the same time... that could be dangerous for the both of you! Keep both hands on the steering wheel :)

what size/weight is your doggy? and what size did you go for? I'm thinking about getting one for my boston terrier.
