i did a mission trip their this summer (2011) I recongnized a lot of things in this video and while there has been progress, there is still so much more to be done. It truly does break your heart to see the holes in the roofs, the spray painted numbers on the walls, the empty lots where someone's home use to be, and the missing home-owner signs in the yards. So much more to be done...
I just went down there last month and let me tell ya, everything is looking a lot better than it has been and I praise God for giving me a chance to go down to new orleans for 4 years and might make it one more year if its God's will for me to go one more time
It was amazing to be a part of rebuilding the city last summer. NO was my home for 5 years at one point and going there to help by bringing members of my church was good. The only thing is I love NO...the city, the people, and the cuture. We will be back soon. God bless!
It's great to see how much has been done, since Hurricane Katrina has happen. But it also shows what still needs to be done. Keep everyone down there in our prayers! :)
