it blows my mind how people form all of these brash opinions of kurt/nirvana. for the most part we will never really know why kurt did a lot of what he did. all we do know is he was one of the greatest musicians of all time. no matter how you feel about the band nirvana you cannot deny that fact. he made amazing music which so many people were able to relate to. so what they trashed their instruments at the end of shows that is just what they did. just enjoy the music for what it is. Seanisa is right, Kurt did come up with very simple songs, but that what makes them genius. The average person could not come up with what Kurt created with that guitar. Anyone can do a power chord, but to make something catchy, well that takes someone special.
