Gavin Newsom stopped me on Clement St to talk to me one day and ask how things were going in the n'hood. Doesn't mean he's a saint, but politicians do this stuff all the time.

Chris isn't a bad guy. Trust me, I know him personally. Yeah, it would be fair to say that he's a strange man who really could be more scrupulous sometimes, but there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that the extent to which he has been routinely singled out and trashed by the media is unfair and disproportionate. The truth is that despite certain traits that some may find objectionable, Chris is much more authentic than most politicians and he is a supremely strong advocate for his community.

Chris Daly, has made some very decent points. I really don't think the Police force helps average citizens, not because I don't see them everyday on the muni terrorizing people who run off of it crying just because they couldn't understand a THING the police officer was SAYING.
If the police makes more money, they have more reason to prey on old ladies. And why are you worried about -- The angels (planes?) What about People?
