My second favorite walker bro song. Not many people know that John did the melody during the chorus because Scott's range couldn't reach the hook. So in the studio recording Scott sang harmony and John sang the lead during the chorus.

That Scott Walker was the epitome of coolness. Even now, some 40+ years later, people comment on his sense of style which always came together in perfect sartorial choices. It was a fine complement to his fantastic singing voice and stage presence.

Haha, those guys messing in the background around 0:43 to 0:54 stole all my attention... great track anyway.

@tripmaker45 the guys had been physically hurt and mauled by rabid fans so many times that they became anxiety ridden if they knew people were standing behind them while they were on stage. Thats why you see John glancing back at the girl at the beginning of the song....that catches Scott's attention and you see him glance over his shoulder as well. Then the big guy goes into action and makes them move away.
