Cool I have this and mine works perfectly! However it had more dirt on it then a dirt road when I bought it, and I have spent many hours cleaning it... the bolts are really rusty... but my cartridge works fine. You are the second person I have heard say the holder has swelled up, so idk... thanks a lot.
There should be an E-clip that holds the turntable spindle in place on the underside of the machine top. (in the area where the motor is). The turntable and spindle will then come out as one unit.
Hey thanks a lot man! I have a newcomb record player that shakes as it turns and makes the needle arm bounce up and down, im not sure what the problem might be. do you know what it could be?
I used to take 45 records to school with me, and when it was raining outside and we couldn't go out for recess, we'd check them out from the library...1s't grade up to 6th...I'm 42 now...tells you something, huh?
cool deck. I have an audiotronics variable speed deck. the style is amost the same as this one. Mine had a blown speaker when i got it. $10 and some wd 40 and a new cartrige later works well to this day.
WOW! That's a neat model! I like that big speaker and the way the front of the box goes up like that. The song you play is cool sounding! May you please make a vid of that song playing in its fullest and in good quality (from the record)?
Yeah mine is different. Your power cord storage is in the back and mine is on top between the turn table and needle arm.
Yours looks a little like my NewComb Stereophonic. The light brown color. black knobs. But the power cord storage on my Stereophonic is also on the top.
Very Interesting indeed! DD The Creepy Clown

That looks similar to my 1974 Audiotronics, but at least you go a good vol. pot. in it. The one in mines is shot.
