I think that young teacher will go far with his energy and talent. Anything that helps make education more engaging for children should be encouraged. That's the good news. The bad news is that judging from many comments here, English classes need to get some pump in them, so we won't see "there" for "their", "tim" for "time", etc. I'm not talking 'bout the text/tweet-style spelling ("CAN U VIST US").

It has been a few years now that I have been telling people that children not only learn through play but through music as well. For example; I'm a daycare provider and I teach my lil people their abc's through the alphabet song. The ABC song is one of the childrens' favorite song. I point to the alphabet on the chart as my lil people recite the ABC song. Great job well done to George Washington Elem School on showing people that children of B'More's public school system can be positive as well.
