Just watched this programme on t.v. had never heard of this man before. Oh what a wonderful programme. I love birds and have got myself in scary situations when I have set off in deep snow to feed them, I was mesmerised. Wish I had a chalet and wood burning stove and a hide. Love badgers too. Used to feed them regularly and they used to come to the door of my caravan which unfortunately was deemed not new enough by the greedy site owner and I lost my pitch and how I miss the wildlife. Great prog

fence is a good idea. I live in the middle of a wood filled with deer, wildboar, badgers etc etc and not lost one veggie

Lol those european badgers look a little diffrent from the ones back home..like tiny little bears instead of big flat brown things eh?

@gopherdude they're didtant cousins, the Eurasian bager (Meles meles) can grow slightly larger than the American variety.
