Not only is this ugly, but that sliding top looks heavy. Does moving it require electrical power? I don't want a piano I can't use when the electricity is out!
I enjoyed playing on a Bosendorfer Porsche when one came visiting to Manila, Philippines in January, 2009. The sound, touch, reaction were beautiful. One has to be open to extraneous elements such as its design, and i congratulate its makers for being forward-looking, brave and creative on this point. :)
First of all it is a ford with Harley Davidson Decals 2nd this piano is a Bosendofer witch are the greatest Piano's in the world there are no better it probably cost about $90,000. so it is as much a a real Porsche
A grand piano is a beautiful piece of instrument. Its design is timeless and there's nothing to be improved! Why make some contemporary version of it?
No one has suggested that the craftsmanship of previously made instruments needs "improvement" or has claimed that a new instrument for this new millennium need be considered a "version" of them.
Any instrument has my permission to stand alone and be a version only of itself - with or without the consent of narrow minds that probably also believe all beautiful has already been composed: old songs don't need new arrangements or vocalists, and new compositions are totally unnecessary.
And for those who speak English, does anyone know where the music playing behind this video can be bought? I'm in NY for the moment, but have a friend close to the Virgin store in Paris, and will be in Europe myself later this summer. Thank you !
Mein Gott! Eine was für schöne Kreation Porsche gebildet hat! Wirklick ein Entwurf für das 21. Jahrhundert! Und von den Anmerkungen, die ich bereits bekannt gegeben, nicht für Wimps voh sehe, dauern Sie.
I think, the most important is the sound. If it's of equal worth or even better than by the traditional designed piano, certainly I would like the newest... if I had the money in question.

Porsche hat sein geniales Auto-Konzept verlassen - die sollen die Finger von Klavieren lassen. Da geht es nicht nur um Äußerliches.

Porsche designed this piano? That's like that special edition Nissan pickup with Harley Davidson decals; it's just tacky.

I agree and apart from being tacky, its a hideous piano.

Agree, Its an awful piano. The Bosendorfer designed by Audi is way better looking than this one. (in my opinion)
