If every amateur tried to copy her, they would massively improve their contact. Slow, deliberate tempo on her back swing sets herself up perfectly for remaining on plane in the down swing.
Most high handicappers are so quick and jittery with their takeaway, it's rare they're able to stay on plane.
@Londono2000 I watched it a couple of times and I think you are right, she has the same amount of bend in the left wrist all the way to the top. She does get a little bit of "downcock" on the left wrist during the downswing. (Meaning she cocks the wrists on the downswing.) But her swing is very simple and I think a good instructor could teach anyone to play well with this type of swing.
@Londono2000 You are confused. It's not zero wrist movement back and forth. It's only zero until near the end of the backswing. Her downswing has a pretty normal release. Pause it at 18 secs halfway down and then again at impact to clearly see it.
Plus there is a lot more going on in her swing than just delaying the wrist action. It's not simple. If it was then other people could do it. And they can't.
@millkdy Her swing is actually not technically wrong or quirky in any way. She just makes a slow backswing with a delayed and small amount of wrist cock. JB Holmes, Steve Stricker and Jack Nicklaus all do the same thing just not as slow in tempo going back.

Ai Miyazato already has a slow swing. This video makes it even slower, lol. Besides that, I love her tempo.

She is so talented. To play such a good golf with that kind of swing.

you can take a napp while she makes the backswing...;)

Very hard to see her transition, if any, because she takes the club back so slowly.
