@choims110192 Look, "basic" in the following: all these steps are from a "normal" level, that's it. You don't see them running in the center and sliding to the end of a corner... for example...
@AldhisslaVargTimmene that's because this isn't a waltz, it is a quickstep. Its not as up in the air as a lot of open choreography is, but that's because they're doing all syllabus figures. Also I just have to say their tipsy is amazing!
This is amazing! I'm so happy the world's best stanard dancers show how the basic steps are done with perfect technique, and it also shows how many different ways moves ad be combined for outstanding choreography. I will definitely be using these in my routines.
Can anyone please list the order of the figures? Some I don't recognize either because the entrances and exits i'm unfamilar with, i don't know the moves, or the technique is so superior the move looks completely different!
THATS AMAZING!!!!!!! we went over quickstep for 2 months and not even our captains can do that!!!! and they've been learning it for like a half a year
yes but the first count you have to go on your hiel. the second count if you're going forward first hiel that just make a normale step to go to your toe( something like that)
I'm more concerned that Alessia lifts her toes up way too much on heel turns - compare them with Karen Hilton or Hazel Newberry and you'll see what I mean.
That depends if she's already Up - if she is, the following step is a toe lower and I think you'll find that's the case here. Check the technique book on the rise and fall and how it affects the footwork if you're not sure.
Way to work a small floor

The "top comment" fails to mention the beginning correctly which is:
Natural Turn - Hesitation - Rumba Cross - 1-3 Natural & Natural Pivot Turn - Running Right.
After that, the comment seems accurate.
phplinkdirectory 5 months ago
@phplinkdirectory It actually looks like a Prep - Natural Turn - Rumba Cross - Rumba Cross - Running Right Turn
The "Hesitation" you're talking about is a heel pull.

This is SOOOOO not "basic" quickstep demo. It will take quite a few years and months to learn this "basic" step.

Everything looks difficult when you can't dance. Take some private lessons with a good teacher.

Sportsman, you are right: It´s a natural pivot turn into rumba cross (danced twice)!

wonderfull but the woman steps wrong if she's going forward she had to step on her hiel not on the front of her foot.
