luciferin is the protein and luciferase is the enzyme. the suffix "-in" means protein and the suffix "-ase" means enzyme...always. But hey, what the hell do I know?
How many tries did it take to invent the lightbulb? Ok, now lets give the idea a chance, perhaps it may never work, at least they tried. And for the record, luciferase and luciferin IS cost effective to produce, in fact when considering what light bulbs really cost in diposal, delivery, power lines, carpentry required, unrenewable resources to power them, blah blah blah. Its the future of light, the key is how long will the light REALLY last?

not a very great idea, he says you dont need light bulbs, you dont need power lines, you dont need anything, oo except for the unbelievably expensive luciferase and luciferin, and then this reaction will only stay illuminated for less then a hour. wow get this guy off of planet green tv
I really wish that'd happen, but all the chemicals would've reacted by that stage... Better way, consume the two chemicals separately (half hour apart) then go pee when you feel like it. :D

Makes you glow on the inside without the problems of consuming radioactive materials!
What? That's what people did when they found out radioactive materials can glow! Then just died a slow and painful death... fail.
Zappyguy111 1 year ago
i think they just made lucifer juice, and then sucked it up with a straw.
