KTXL seemed to use a lot of cool stock video backgrounds, this "lighted filmstrip" being my favorite. I've seen this before...anyone know where it comes from?
Yeah, one of the many 'Friday the 13th' ripoffs that came out in the early 80s, this one's memorable for an early appearance by Tom Hanks. When this aired on channel 40, they put in a commercial break right after someone gets beheaded, which I thought was a nice touch.

When I was a kid, I remember thinking the content warning slides were more scary than the actual movie they were warning you about.
