I was at the AUDI dealership this Saturday. I asked about the R4 and they said it is only a Rumormill thing. I realized as I asked while looking at the TT that an R4 is truly not likely. I would suggest a trip to your local AUDI dealership, look at the TT closely. It would not make sense to have a car with the exact size dimensions of the TT and yet sell the car as an R4.
