i did this, it was working fine but now it's not, my computer kept crashing when i would use it, so i deleted it from applications, then re installed it, now everytime i try to open it, it shuts right down and says final cut pro quit unexpectedly. can't figure out how to get it to work now, even re downladed the whole thing from the beginning

It worked fine for me! As a matter of fact, by acident, i did open the app before i paste the recipt and it still did work fine. But i have a question for you. Will this app now be able to pick updates? I know i should buy the one from mac store but let's just say, i wanna be confident its something i want and it suits my needs, before i pay £200.

@extremeRE4 me too but I read about it and seen turtorials. Its an add on to final cut studio x. It is a programme that lets you add text and animate it, or animate your actualvideo with special effects. Like exploding things and gun muzzle flashes. Just check it will say when you start up final cut studio, somewhere it will say motion 5 hopefully. Thanks!

and something with soundtrack maker or idk sry..

and i chose motion,... it downloaded a few files and then my mac said insert disc for motion (1)

, i pressed cancel and a few seconds later my mac said insert disc for motion (2)

and i pressed cancel and then it said i can't install motion

@fRANKwrld to be honest, don't download it. it's like imovie..(if you don't know imovie it's the standard movie editing programme for mac.) download final cut express 4 or final cut pro 7 they are really great and there are no issues and/or glitches. those are 2 almost professional or indeed professional programmes in my opinion, which are much much much better than final cut pro x. if you are a beginner it's a little bit hard to begin, but if you are an advanced, it's great to edit things.
