No actually you can change the distortion on the gfx - 8, it's probably one of the best eectors you'll get. Check out funtwo's version o this song.

I think you can have tremolo bridges put into guitars that don't originally have them, but I'm not sure if you can do it for all. I know some people who customize their les pauls with bigsby trem birdges. not sure about floyd rose. but it'll probably take some money to have someone at a shop do it

Probably yes.

ZOOM GFX-8, and Yamaha GW-10 on exteral distortion.

Distortion GFX-8 is too poor... noise gate, equalizer, digital effect (delay, rever, etc.) is very good.
