Actually , that subwoofer cone is about to break up. There's many subwoofer that could get 5 inch of excursion , but none of these will handle it very long.

Oh btw, I run a 12" RE XXX (05 series) off a sundown saz-1500 in my daily driver. The best thing about the XXX is it can have great sq( even during long excursion) and move serious air/get LOUD. They utilize the XBL^2 coil which is a LMS or linear stroke cousin. That means the driver can stay very linear up to 32mm one way. Thats about 3+" of usable excursion. With an LMS coil i have no doubt that the driver in your video would hold up, even have great SQ! Look at TC sounds.

Anything sundown is top notch and highly recommended! Theirs a video floating where jacob wall sockets one at 3x the rms and it takes it no problem! Their amps are just short of amazing! tested 81% efficiency at 1 ohm! and can do half ohm with good electrical.
