The true core of the problem is todays ultra-feminist black grandmothers who rebelled and went from being strong black women who were the rock of their families to being loud and extremely proud strong totally independent gangsta b****es who have extremely warped concepts of strength and masculinity.
As is very concisely explained in the book called "The Black Girl Curse" no one had ever heard of strong totally independent black women before the advent of mass govt assistance in the mid 70s.

I hear you. but wanting that bad boy in itself is a love lesson that needs to be learned especially for someone thats looking to settle down...Bad boys are not and shouldnt be the type to settle down with. so if she's looking for that long term relationship it should NOT be with a bad boys so if it is... shes hasnt learned something that she needs to

I think it goes further than learning a "love lesson." One reason why so many women end up with bad men is due to the types of men they're attracted to in the first place. The guy who's treats women right and works a regular job is labeled as too sensitive or boring, so they start chasing after these so-called "bad boys." And they love themselves some bad boys-that is until something bad happens. And even after that they don't learn. So it goes beyond just a life lesson.
