I think for the same reason most people do. There's a lot of political games in IKO1 it's all about money. Even the branch chief in Holland here who was close friends with Matsui for many years separated because the Japanese wanted to change rules in Europe without any discussion.
In Kyokushin-Kan there is more freedom and Kancho Royama is a very wise man and his chairman shihan Hiroshige has trained many champions like shihan midori kenji, kenji yamaki, hajime kazumi and lots more
