  • The music of this fashion show is a bit weird...

  • what's the song at 1:50?

  • sheila marcando estilo

  • galliano what the fuck happened

  • i dont think this is the music that they used for this show though.

  • sheila marquez wapa!!es la mejor

  • donde esta el taconazo de dior? TT

  • no lo hay xd

  • N. Ajuma looked gorgeous in that choral colored dress at 3:48 and walk was fierce too!!!!!!!! oh and chanel iman worked it too!!

this line is brilliant with the textures and colors and aspects of mexican culture to add some non-westernized flare. Awsome!

  • this collection is amazing!!...the music what a mess!!..jeje

  • I mean the colors were garish, the staging was all wrong, and yes the styling was horrible and I stand by what I said, I do not think the fall 2008 nor this collection were high points for Galliano, I expect more from him. I did however love the Fall 2008 Haute Couture show, it was a new direction for Galliano and Dior and much more subdued from the Valley of the Dolls and costume like looks he's been putting together. He found his happy medium.

  • Excuse you smurphy8680 are you a fashion expert? because this collection was banging!!! amazing yea its all about the good life and Mr. Galliano has fun with his collections like the fuscia sombreros. by the way flavia at 8:02 worked it out like hell

  • im with you i love the show the music well it could been better but the clothes were amazing

  • Songs:

    madonna give it 2 me

    jennifer lopez - forever

    madonna - miles away

jennifer lopez- miles in these shoes

    christina aguilera- hurt

(jlo's songs in a fashion show...

    dear john.. are you kidding?????)

ps: i only love chanel iman's white dress

  • Thanks :]

btw, I'm In Love With Mia's dress (4:25..

The dresses in the end of part 2, are nice too , but rhey don't have the same effect on me as the previous things that he has designed...

  • i agree with you!anyway, the previous resort collection is indisputaby better that this one!

now let's hope 4 the best about monday's haute couture collection!!i'm beside myself with joy!!!

  • where these the actual songs used in the show?

  • I think so...

I didn't change them...and this video is directly from the Dior site...

  • okay cheers :)

  • jenniferlopez was in the audience...there was the reason ...jajjaa....

  • this is inspired by Mexico's art and culture, how amazing?

  • more like inspired by the tacky old rich white ladies who move to mexico and wear ridiculous things like fuschia sombreros. this collection is all about cliches and tired, predictable kitsch

  • funny description, but ...

did you enjoyed the collection or not?

I personally love what Galliano is doing for the house of Dior, have you seen the pictures of today's F/W 08/9 Haute Couture show? (June 30th 08)

It's a new era for Dior!!

  • i thought it was a good resort collection, full of color, wearable pieces, etc. but highly overstyled just like most of his shows. i just think he usually styles the models to look like drag queens and it's distracting from some amazing clothing. the new couture show was, as you say, a new era, more restrained and more elegant than we have seen in awhile!

  • I think that the collection has some strong elements in is..Namely the chiffon dresses towards the end (jessica Stam) and the Radsmir babydolls worn by Jourdon and Chanel...Is it the most exciting ? No...But that what Resort is a collection that clients can easily put into the wardrobe as a transition from fall. I love the Tony Duquette references in the set and the jewelry.

  • marvelous collection!!
