Its Ok to think anything you want but its when you act upon them specifically against any minority makes it a hate crime. Freedom of belief but not freedom to act upon those beliefs to injure others. This applies to everyone!

You obviously don't understand that being straight is also a sexual orientation too. Gay people that attack people for being straight could also be prosecuted under this bill. Actually, if you want to be technical about it, straight people that attack other straight people for being straight (why this would happen, I don't know, I'm just saying it could) could be prosecuted under this bill. I suppose you would defend a pedophile who argues that his sexual orientation is towards children or a zoophile who claims he is sexually oriented to animals (oh yes, look it up!). Its sickening, but both of these are protected by this legislation. The TRUTH is that neither of these, nor homosexuality, are sexual orientation but sexual perversion, unnatural and immoral. Sex between a man and a woman is the way nature and God intended it. Nothing could be more clear.
You're wrong, they're not protected because pedophilia and bestiality are illegal. They are illegal because neither involves CONSENT, which means two adults collectively deciding to have sex.
