@Mamboleo hmmm... well, a border collie is a great breed for agility, and i would start in some obediance, which collies are very good at, and i would do obediance first, because it forms a bond between you and the dog. it also teached important commands such as sit and stay. after that, i would go through all the levels of agility classes, then you can ask the instructor of the agility classes how to get into shows (everythings different) and go on from there :D
I was interested in starting agility. I have owned dogs my whole life but never an agility breed, I want to get a Border Collie and do agility. How can I start?
@TypicallyBella Looking at one dog does not suddenly make it possible for every other dog on the planet to do agility. BC's are FAMOUS for their athleticism so this really isn't surprising to watch and it certainly doesn't make me believe every dog can do agility. It just makes me think that all BC's have a knack for agility. I don't really care if you're going to nationals or not lol. Although Notties are a GORGEOUS dog breed.
@cheerfulchip197 I didn't say JUST this one dog made it possible? Lol, like what. I referred to MOST dogs being able to do agility, OBVIOUSLY disabled dogs or senior dogs can't compete. I think you don't know what you're talking about.
@TypicallyBella Lol. I know exactly what I'm talking about. Go watch my agility videos and see how my dog trains. When I visited your channel, all I saw was a bunch of vampire shit.
@cheerfulchip197 LOL. Yeah, right. I've been to over 25 trials, won double Q's in ALL of them, and qualified into nationals. Have you? Ummmm....that would be a no. LMAO. MY channel is XxHoneyAgilityxX. I just switched channels, but if you don't believe me, hit me up in personal messages.
@cheerfulchip197@TypicallyBella Sorry Typically Bella, but I have a friend who competes at many Nationals, wins Nationals, is going to Worlds and the European Open this year (she's still a jr. handler) her mom's a world famous Agility handler, and they teach Agility for a living, and even she says every, and any dog can succesfully train and compete in Agility. Now how well it does in comps depends in part on the dog, but mainly on the skill of the handler. Just saying...
prej zrychlený záběr =D Mnojo holt má Adéla rychlý pejsky a asi na tom pořádně maká, pak to takhle hezky vypadá. Jááá kdybych měla čas furt bejt na cvičáku, nojoo :D:D

Just to make sure we're clear on this, you guys do know that that is NOT a Border Collie right? It's a Sheltie.

@AgilityBeagle Of course.

@TypicallyBella Just checking since someone kept saying it was a BC.
