That is a very cool bike - love the air cooled heads/jugs, the peashooter exhaust, the twin shocks and of course the 2-stroke sound. Great build - thanks for sharing!
yes. so semi cafed out is completely plausible considering they were never cafe as a stock item. thank you for clearing that up. quit giving shit to people who enjoy the culture and just like to ride. gold wings and viragos. seen amazing products out of them both, you're not even a motor enthusiasts asshole. i'm still rubbing my balls for you.
Sorry, I am severely sexually attracted to motorcycles, especially beautiful awesome sounding 2 stroke cafe style bikes ! Yes I would love to "ride it" too ! ;-) Owned a '77 RD400 once that was semi-cafe'd out.
umm that's like saying "I owned a '70 Chevelle 454 SS that was semi-muscle car'd out"
In fact I think I'l start bagging on all the RD400 "cafe'd out" clips on youtube, reminding people that's all the bike has ever been consistently sold as, even when it was about the only one when Kawi killed the 2 stroke triples.
"look at my cafe'd out RD 400! " haha, had to repeat it for another laugh.
@smvirili I don't share your fixation for male testicles so will just call you an idiot.
Yamaha didn't CALL them that but just search google images and look at all the photos- OLD photos that show up from back in the day with the tiny fairings and drop down/clip on handlebars. Anyway I'm not coming back to argue about it because I'd have to hear that gawdawful racket engine noise. Gives me a headache.
This cafe racer shit has been done to death- "Gold Wing cafe racer"... haha.
what a beauty!...excellent job on the bike...i like the stingers on the chambers too... here's an airflow secret...for maximum flow in a carb...there needs to be a velocity stack...you know it looks like a horn....there are 2 of them inside the factory air box.....the air filter needs to be on the end of the velocity stack...or the stack going into a plenum and then an airfilter. that's something i'm trying to figure out too. fav'ed the vid too....ummmm...DG HEADS TOO!...LOL
You did a real nice job on the bike. Clean no tabs no side covers, flat slides, steering damper, all the stuff that matters. Now you need to get my big brake upgrade so you can stop it ....... RossT USA2STROKERS..........
