Don't know if you've played around with the "Google" Earth Maps, but they are a great source of information in planning trips as you can go to the "Earth" or "Satellite" view and see the actual area you're planning to visit......if these links come through, they are the New River Gorge Bridge.......if they don't make it, pull up the google dot com and click the "Maps" and take a look...........
Thanks for the response....too bad you didn't have time to travel West of Old US-60 for a few miles past Ansted, WV to the Hawk's Nest State Park and look into the New River Gorge from the overlook there......definitely a great panorama there....if you can pull up the webshots dot com link and view the WV photos there that I have uploaded as "teaberryeagle" you will see a couple of this overlook.
@TEABERRYEAGLE Great pictures on WebShots - thanks for the information. If I make it back to WV I’ll keep that in mind. As I look at the pictures I want to go back to WV and see more. I just started a website that has some comments about my trip and the still pictures in the video if you want to take a look:
