  • I dont know WHAT the herald is talking about but tbey DEFINATELY got facts WRONG

  • Well allll of u dont know what ur talkin about b/c my cousin IS a felon b/c of that AND she got 5 years of felony probation... So keep talkn out ur ass :)) .........

  • a year?

    nah

    make it 10 years

    revoke her license

    put her as a felon

and also make the mother of the teen pay for his medical bills

and maybe while no ones home tow her vehicle away and destroy it and get rid of the license in a vat of acid.

    my two cents

  • i love how they included the results of the HS football game LMAO aww priorities =o)

  • #87, I totally agree with you, Every bit of it, Lock her ass up !!!!!!

  • @MrKorbske wow.

  • She may not be a violent person to her mother but running someone over with your car doesn't exactly make you a candidate for Humanitarian of the Year.....

Put simply it was a violent act and if she wasn't a violent person as her mother blindly believes, she wouldn't have done it. But is making her a felon the answer? In this case yes because in a rush of blood she tried to kill someone. That alone makes her a violent person IMO.

  • wow, sprinting with a cracked vertebrae. crazy

  • How about they just send her to my house for a year instead. I'll make her pay >:]

  • Okay, it's her first offense. No felony. Instead, give her a cracked vertebra and a few scrapes and contusions, impound her car, make her pay for Bell's medical expenses, revoke her license for, oh, I dunno, five to ten years, and call it even.

  • Poor kid, I hope he's doing ok.

  • she should definitely be fined. and i mean a big fine. for sure more than $100. that maybe a bit harsh but definitely $50

  • No license.. rest of life.. period. No right for her to be behind the wheel ever again.

  • Everytime someone commits a violent act, their family, friends, attorney, start yapping about how rough it's been or going to be for the offender. Nobody gets it rougher than the victim. U don't have to have a previous criminal record to commit a criminal act because u are a criminal the moment u commit your FIRST criminal act. This girl deserved longer than 1 year in jail & there never should have been a question about it being a felony. It's attempted murder when u run someone over with a CAR.

  • @limowreck27 not to mentiopn flee the scene afterwards. Attempted murder AND fleeing the scene makes it stand out heavily as premeditated, even if she planned to run him down only 5 minutes beforehand. She should be served the full extent of the law, not juvie law either. She wanted to act mature by driving she can cop the mature cost for law breaking

  • who cares what her mother said i'm sure their lawyers tell them exactly what to say and anyone would lie to save their child from severe punishment although i think she deserves her jail time and to actually be on parole that way she can actually be monitored and get some therapy

  • alright listen real quick i waqs dating her at that time lets just say they call me Roler but n e ways we had a fight that night and left all mad she sees this kid zack bell that ALWAYS I MEAN ALWAYS HAS STALKED HER the kid is not retarted but he isnt all there either every time i seen him since he runs he says stupid stuff and had always triesd to come over she didt talk to that kid in years since some incident when she was younger the kids got problems isay thesame with her shes the sweetest

  • yea she dfid it on purpose

  • lock that girl up for years!! that is attempted murder. i dont believe for a second that she dodged a person.

  • HAHAHA LOOK AT EM RUN

  • what happens if u leave the scene of an accident after u hit a car not a person

  • regardless if it was an accident it will still be a felony hit and run , leaving the scene of an accident

ps she should be a felon

  • he would probably be dead if not for that pole stopping the car

  • ''Getting a job as a felon is not easy. Felons are often shunned in the community as untrustworthy.''

SO ARE PEOPLE WHO MOW DOWN UNSESPECTING PEDESTRIANS WITH THIER CAR!!

''Horne had no record before this case.''

Everyone in jail had a clean record at one point

'' The girl said she swerved to miss a person who had walked in front of her car.''

let me guess... First times she's lied?? ha

  • I also think she needs to be a felon. She made a conscious choice and must live with the consequences. I understand people make mistakes but they must acept the responsibility. She also should have gotten more jail time too. If they don't make her a felon, she's legally going to be able to buy a firearm when she's off probation. Do you want a person like this owning a gun? It's age 18 to own a rifle/shotgun and 21 to own a handgun. BTW, I'm not against guns (own them) and member of the NRA.

  • I think she deserves to be a felon. This case is no different than someone shooting someone without killing them. The shooter would be a felon, so why should she be excused of it? She made a conscious decision to hit that kid, so lock her ass up.

  • but truthfull pitz

  • no. weomon are people, too. it's just the stupidiness of tenage drinking, and drivign. or maybe, just tenag driving, all to gether.

  • What? So when adults drink and drive its not stupidity?

  • actually, yes, it is. when ANYWONE drinks, and drives, it's stupidity. infact, it's illigal as hell.

  • I like your answer lol.

  • "Horne's mother does not think so, saying the jail sentence is enough punishment. She said her daughter is not a violent person."

Somehow, I don't think this woman knows her own daughter very well....she tried to run a guy over with a CAR!

  • That driver should have to serve 10 years in prison, not one... and she definitely needs to be labeled a convicted felon. People need to know that she is unstable and dangerous, being tagged as a felon will give them forewarning.

  • You have to think of her age 17, yes she knows its wrong but kids that age think irrationally. And making her a felon for the rest of her life...i dont think is necessary nor would 10 years be necessary. A year in jail for someone so young is a very long time (to them).

  • Furthermore statesmen can continue their advocacies from the relative stability of the stockade- between more generalized utterances.

  • i think the stock would be a fine restoration- stoning tends to encourage general naughtiness

  • I hope the kid owns the girls parents home in a civil case and the girl should be a felon. HER CHOICE.

  • You guys obviously didn't read. Her mom said she isn't a violent person! Thats why she didn't get an attempted murder or vehicular assault charge..

  • okay a mother would say anything and she should be in jail for that if i was the judge i would have thrown the book at her.

  • Lol.

You never know, he may have deserved more than that ^ ^

  • i saw this on TV. it was on worlds most amazing videos. the guy just recently broke up with the girl, and the girl ran over him with his car.

  • he ran fast for just getting hit by a car and getting launched in the air kudos

  • Who cares if it was her first offense. She tried to kill the guy with her car. I hope they make her a felon.

  • read the box >>>>

  • its a gurl

  • the one that got hit by a car?

  • the one whos driving is a gurl

  • Comment removed

  • Accident or no accident, at the end of the day the girl used her car as a weapon to inflict harm, either physically or emotionally. But the fact is, none of us know the true facts unless you are a personal friend to either of them and know the true story behind the incident. I do hope the lads ok, but I also hope the young girl has learnt her lesson with controling herself.

  • that is assault with a deadly weapon. according to worlds shittiest police chases.

If the girl was black I wonder what would have happened to her

  • Pre-meditated act complete. I hope the guy is alright and that crazy nutt is in jail. She does not need to be in public.

  • thats not the point, the point is she did it, intentional or not its still a crime. its the people u least expect that do these things. my aunt is a therapist, she says 9 out of 10 times that something like this happens, its a person who has never had any record of crime before the incident, which means they should of known better to begin with. i think its this chick that needed to do the growing up, now she ruined her one chance at life because she cant control herself

  • 10 out of 10 suicide bombers are first time offenders. Which is yet another misleading statistic not worth repeating. I don't know how you characterize ''something like this" but violent crimes are definitely more likely to be committed by people with a violent past.

  • Her mother says she's not a violent person.

    WRONG.

A violent person is someone who commits a violent act, like trying to kill someone by running them down with a car.

Her attorney says it will have too negative an impact on her life.

    WRONG AGAIN.

It will teach her that what she did was wrong, that threatening someone's life makes you rightly lose your freedom, and suffer being locked up.

NO WONDER SHE'S SCREWED UP. LOOK AT HER MOTHER AND ATTORNEY.

  • now his guy/or girl is 100% correct. she did the crime, she obviously couldnt control herself. is this the type of person everyone wants roaming freely? control your emotions and actions people...some say "o shes not a bad person" clearly she is...

  • The thing that annoyed me the most about the article in the video info to the left was that they made Horne out to be the victim! Bell was hit by a car....on purpose...by her! Who knows what kind of damage he might suffer from years from now. If he has kids he might not even be able to bend over and pick them up because of his cracked vertabrae. This girl is a real nut job.

  • @numbereightyseven Parents are almost always naïve and unwilling to see reason when it comes to their kids. Attorneys on the other hand are paid to be naïve. That's what's wrong with society.

  • if he was a g he would have yanked her out that car and dick slapped her and her sister

  • She should have gotten more than just 1 year after that premeditated attempt.

  • i think she should be charged with attempted vehicular man slaughter

  • Crap he made it away after that! Thats insane, i got smacked by a car once barrely geting into the air and HELL it hurts... Like a fist that dosent stop going and this guy run away. Well he was fearing for his life perhaps but hell thats strong :) go go!

  • is the person ok all better now? oh please be all better now and just get rid of this whole thing cause no one really needs to see this if he/she is all better!!

  • I hope she gets the felony charge if this is all accurate. He will have back pain for the rest of his life prob, so i wouldn't feel bad about her having a hard time getting a job. She can earn her way back into society. IMHO

  • DANG!! That Was A Bad Hit
