  • i had same problem but im just a 13 year old kid it was fixed in 2 hours LOL .by a repair man

  • First thing you did wrong: Use a toshiba :D

  • @ErectopiaServer If you really think the laptop brand has anything to do with it, go look up "computer parts" on Google. The GPU, which was the problem, was made by ATI. ATI makes cards for many laptop and computer companies, so any other computer could have this problem.

  • @CompuTechMaster Don't forget warranties. Also, if the rest of the problems you listed on your blog went wrong as well--yeah, I'd call that brand issue. Plus, I encounter many laptops, and the ones with the most issues are 1. HP and 2. Toshiba. The part about ATI is invalid, as both ATI and NVidia only make the chipset, and then those are sent out to manufacturers to proprietize whatever they want.

  • @ErectopiaServer I got it in 2008 I believe, so warranty was out of the question.

  • @CompuTechMaster Still though, bad quality on their part. I suggest Lenovo's. Great warranty support. (Not paid :P)

  • @CompuTechMaster WRONG.....ati hasnt anything to do with these...the problem is from the motherboard because has the same heatpipe for the cou and the gpu and you have to replace te thermal paste and make some adjustments on the main board.....ati has no guilty that the mb producer created wrong the the heatevacuation plan...

P.S:ati makes cards for the most of the laptops and computers on the market..

  • @radu21sp I replaced the thermal paste at least once a year, that wasn't a problem...

  • hey my uncle gave me hes 2008 toshiba laptop satellite it was the best 1 in 2008 and when i turn it on and hold the button it wont start up he gave me it to see if i can fix i went on youtube vids how to use without battery cos batttery may be dead so i looked up a vid how to use without battery people said it worked but dident for me do u no how to fix?

  • this has happened to me, did you get it fixed. if so what was the problem, how much did it cost to fix?

  • @AgentMrX7 Apparently it's got to do with the graphics card, I didn't bother finding out how to fix it.

  • Wanna cut your nails

  • u have to reflow the GPu and will work again

  • The same has happened to my exact same laptop, it was only around 2 years old for fuck sake!!!!!

  • @joenpierre24 Erm, the cause of failure is the GPU. Get your facts straight before bagging someone.

  • got it working again yet???

  • Thanks Daniel + friends for the support. :P

  • This Kid Needs A Life

  • this is the gayest shit ever
