The representative from NOW, in this video segment, stated in minute 2:00 - 2:06 that 40 PERCENT of women have had or will have an abortion in their lifetime. That has to be the biggest bullshit statistic ever. Our abortion rates are no where near that high.
According to the anti-abortion folks it IS that high but I'll bet both groups are including procedures NOT necessarily considered abortion. Such as DNC.

that's why obama said if we were starting from scratch we would go single payer. but the insurance industry is a huge part of the american econony, and right now the american economy is already unstable enough
