When i first started playing bass, my goal was to learn how to be able to play like Victor Wooten (slap bassist) or Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist) so soonly after i said "eff it:" and transfered to guitar. Its a good thing i did so, because if i were to still try and play slap bass, i prolly would have ended up smashing the instrument and killing myself.

His playing is more distinct with less "slop". Not saying that this guys isn't pretty good...but in the genre (yes Candyrat artists are the standard) he doesn't impress me like many other guys out there. I didn't even mention Don Ross who was the grandfather of this style.

Andy McKhee, Eric Mongrain, and Antoine Dufoir are far better. This was sloppy and his meter was all off. Not saying I could do better...but if you're going to tout him as the "best unplugged guitarist", he needs to be better.
