@Link6694 *SPOILER* As well, the original Galaxy had the 241 stars, but 120 of them were repeats, the only difference being that you play as Luigi. The 242 stars are 242 different challenges, not 121 in the original game. This is easily the most expansive Mario game to date, as said in the review.

@Turner459O The original also had "242" stars, if you count playing the same thing as a different character and collecting the same stars "different stars", then yes, 242 is correct, otherwise it only had 121.

One more? 120 stars more. Stars in SMG2 are all unique. Doing 120 stars with Mario is practically the same as with Luigi.
