  • Damn, I got a boner to this, real nice bro :')

  • @thund3rd3v1l Lol, thanks a lot!

  • where's the standing ovation? I would have given you one!

  • @fosterjaml4 Thanks man, yeah actually they were walking out, lol but usually the response is way better then this.

  • Do you happen to have a recording for this song you played? I'd love to have it in my playlist while travelling!

  • @Student4Life89 This would be it unfortunately, I am the only one that recorded that night. Thanks for your interest though! What about this video (Funky smooth jazz cover of The Greyboy Allstars "Pancea" Jo-Jo Moceri-Drum solo 8:26) of mine, I think it is a total cruising song and maybe you will agree, check it out and if you like it I could send it to you.

  • what kind of genre is this?funk?jazz? or funk jazz?

  • @genz46618 Yeah you know good question I guess I would say jazzy funk!

  • @Monsterdrumma jazzy funk..nice.. :) this kind of music is the best.. very professional.. thumbs up + respect.. :)

  • @genz46618 Thanks a lot, I appreciate it!

  • Great gig!

  • @Drahcir1961 Thanks very much!

  • you have guts my friend doin a gig minus kick(bet u were still stompin on the floor lol), and you pull it off nicely. U need one of those flat pack kits. Nice recording. Did I hear some Tony Williams in that solo? yep, some of the best gigs are the unrehearsed ones.

  • @naedsukram Hey thanks bud, I was thinking about buying a traps kit actually. I love Tony Williams so maybe it seeped out a bit unintentionally but thanks for the comparison!

  • How do you play a gig with out a kick drum?

  • @NouveauNick Hey good question Nick, it takes some guts I guess, the same way I just got on stage not knowing any of the material and just throwing myself in to the fire which I have always done because I think it is the best way to learn and build confidence. Also when I play music I come in to the gig blank and let myself become the music and I do the same with whatever kit I happen to be playing like this which is none of my own gear. I played a bit busier also to fill in for the kick drum.
